Inspired by the Roblox hit Dress to Impress, we wondered: could we build a game where you get a style brief, pick an outfit from a rack of fashion items, snap a selfie, and then star in your own custom runway video? That’s LookStar. You’re the diva on the catwalk, and other players vote on who wore it best.
For live ops, we made the daily events build themselves. The game scans the news for what’s happening in the world, creates a daily event, then pulls together a matching set of clothing items for players to choose from.
Our in-house video model makes the catwalk videos, and they’re hilarious and very shareable.
